Shout out to Mr. Servin, Ms. Ramos, Ms. Martinez & Ms. DLT, Mr. Armando for
attending our and supporting our School Beautification Day! It is absolutely
UNBELIEVABLE that together, we were able to plant 40 plants on the hillside, build
2 buddy benches, paint 2 stairwells, and 1 handball court. My heart is so grateful
for the care to the school!

Loved seeing Ms. Elizabeth (Kinder student) take such ownership of painting the
stairs!

Attendance: Please know that our school received recognition for solid attendance for Classified (100% in excellent band), but highlighted that 55% of our Classified Staff are in the Excellent band. We were once again one of the lowest. Immediately after the meeting, HR contacted me for a mandatory meeting this Friday. Many Classified have not had more than 10 absences, and are only in that Chronic band because of 6-9 absences. Please be mindful that our school is being closely monitored for all employees who have repeated (2 years in a row) low attendance (lower than 96%). More information to come. Your attendance % (located on your paystub). We will discuss it more at our meeting on Tuesday.

Tardies: We have noticed an uptick in tardies. Please make sure that you are calling the office immediately, if you know you are running late.

Spring Academy Interest Form: Monday & Tuesday, April 15 and 16th, from 8 to 12 PM. Please let me know if you are interested in working those two days. LINK

Achievement Assembly: Teachers please submit your nominees by February 28, 2025. LINK

Student of the Month: Please have your students name in by February 28, 2025. LINK

PE Certification: Please make sure you certify by Friday, February 28, 2025.

Data Chats- This week, we will continue with our Data Chats with Students. Remember, a strong piece of the puzzle is bringing in the parents. Be sure to send any of the iReady reports home with the students, and the SMART goals with them.

Parent Conferences: A set of the following items will be boxed for you on Monday, February 24. To see a copy of the items, please click links below:

Reminder: On Tuesday of Conference week, no Faculty Meeting. Conferences can begin at 2:40 PM and on.

Twenty is Plenty: Please view the slide deck for our Twenty is Plenty Campaign. Iā€™ve included talking points in the NOTES section. And, I have recorded the purpose of the campaign. Feel free to turn the volume down, or off, so you can walk through the slide deck. My recommendation is to have the slide deck on PRESENT MODE, so you can go slide to slide. This is only to provide context of what can be done during this time with parents. I trust your ability to modify based on your grade level, and your own personal suggestions. To edit, please make a copy of the slides using this link: LINK

To play the slide deck, unedited: https://sotostreet.my.canva.site/twentyispplenty

Students at Risk of Falling into Chronic Band

Teachers, I have emailed you directly with the names of the students at risk of falling into the Chronic Band.

These are students with over 5 absences and less than 10.

They will be our efforts for home visits, proactive principal calls, and PSA incentives.

Any effort on your end, in collaboration will go a long way to keep them in "good" status this year and not contribute to our Chronic
Band!

Thank you in advance for your support.
